Old vs New (Bus-stop)

The very traditional old China style Bus-stop. The only one existed in Macao.

The commercialize Bus-stop, finds it everywhere in this little city now.

Sad to see the old style replaced with one that looks like any bus-stop shelter anywhere in the world, complete with a Coco-Cola advertisement. Yuck.

Even if they needed to replace old ones, or build new ones, they should have tried to retain the traditional look in some way.

Yucky! Yucky!! Yucky!!!

I admired the new bus-stop could sheltered from heavy rain when people were waiting bus there only.

The Govt. just knows paving those wavy pattern tiles in the central areas.

The old style looks nice, traditional. Here in KL, there are lots of styles - all minimalist, some functional some not so.

The old one is definitely more beautiful and has a lot more character, but the new one seems more practical.

Which is better?

I’ve seen some minimalist ones in KL when I traveled there, nice indeed.

Moody Minstrel:
For practical function of course the new one, but I still like the old on. Beauty stuff always captures people in the first place.

Hey PP if you don't mind telling me where exactly I can find this bus-stop (street name, near XXX building, etc.) I will "visit" them next year! :)

Will spend CNY in Macau next year so just wondering what I can do when everyone is with their family, huhu....:P

Hi, Low:

I hope you will make your trip on that time. It’s great to travel in here during CNY holidays, ‘coz not so crowded. Most local people will go to travel as the same as you go out of your home town.;-)

That bus-stop is in front of the San. Franciso Garden, (嘉思栏花园), in the central of town. 即教育局对面.
