Absolutely!

However, those dark comments on Pandabonium's blog about the pollution and possible environmental damage caused by fireworks has put a bit of a sour note on them. That stinks, because I've always liked fireworks! >:-(

I like fire works..

when I was a kid, I thought I like to light fireworks..

but in the end, I just like the sudden burst of beauty, even for one second, even for one ray, even for one feeling..

It is enough to fill my heart.

Sour note? Hmmm....You have a discrepant mindset on
it.
No matter your comments about fireworks are dark or
bright, if only you enjoy the sight of fireworks with
a joyful mood that would be wonderful. Isn't it?

Robin:
Certainly it is fun to light fireworks and it never
eased my interest to light or watch firework since I
was young until now.
Every Chinese Lunar New Year, there are many firecrackers/firework booths are set up for citizens
to have fun.

I've always liked watching fireworks. Still do. I agree PP that they are romantic.

As for pollution, at least they don't use depleted uranium like the real "fireworks" some countries use nowdays.
